2nd edition all the way. Its just to versatile not to like it.
I got thrown into a 3rd edition game where they wee starting out level 8 and didnt have the books... needless to say i was bit lost on what my character was doing or even supposed to do.
I got stuck on an ntc white cell rotation for 6 weeks (cleaning latrines what a waste of time) and all we did day n day out was game, unfortunately was all 3rd edition and u cant wing a 3e game.

It would have to be 2nd ed AD&D, very versatile with a ton of great supplements and some of the best game worlds.

It would have to be 2nd ed AD&D, very versatile with a ton of great supplements and some of the best game worlds. I have to agree with this statement. the 3+ editions leave out to many D&D worlds. |
