Everyone loves a good, "Remember when..." thread, so it's time for a trip down memory lane. Feel free to post on here about any hobbies you may have been into when you were younger, preferably with some links to examples. (Remember, the geekier the better!) ;D Ok, I'll start... When I was a kid, I used to love collecting these little space wrestler guys called, "M.U.S.C.L.E. men". I probably had around a hundred or so of them. I think they were something like 4 for $1.00 back in '85. Well, here's a link to some examples of "M.U.S.C.L.E. men": nathansmuscleblog.blogspot.com/P.S. I found out only recently that M.U.S.C.L.E. men came from a Japanese anime called, "Kinnikuman" (literally translating into "Muscleman" in English), that only reached the U.S. in later years in a spinoff series called, "Kinnikuman Nisei", or "Ultimate Muscle", as it was called in the U.S., involving the offspring of the original M.U.S.C.L.E. men. Here's a link to a "Kinnikuman" site: www.kinnikuman.com/akia/index.htmAnyone remember these guys?

No probs man, just post something you do remember! ;D Let your little inner Niemz free to frolick through the imaginary fields of yester... Ok that's just sounding all kinds of creepy. Sorry. AHEM! Seriously though, you should post some links to some of the stuff you were into back in the day. Here's a link to a game, unprecedented in it's day, which I actually became quite obsessed with when it first came out back in '89: uk.ign.com/top-100-nes-games/50.htmlAnyone remember Shadowgate for the old NES?

I've tried the upgraded version on my iPad, while the graphics & animations are cute & fun, it just doesn't have the same feel anymore. I deleted it. Another really fun game was: I got it for the iPad. I never realized just how creepy it was LOL. I also just ordered the hardcover novel from amazon for $0.01. LOL

Yea, now a days, the games are sooo complicated. I miss the simplicity of having a single objective (like Oregon Trail, your objective was simple: "Don't Die")
