It was a fun and veyr easy game at first. Started in 2006 by the Wise Corperations in the United States it quickly spread and gained VR technology with the computer jumpstart of 2008. It is now 2010 and the DES or Destiny End System (also known as The World to many players) is a part of most peoples lives. Many corperations choose too advertise and buy space on the server itself. DES has taken hold of most people's lives and many who shunned technology now enjoy the game itself.

So what's the point you ask?

Well DES has no major plot, it is a massive world where you can develop whatever you want. If you wish to become the best at what you do its possible to do whatever you want. Many players flocked here to become the masters of the game, the Dres Corp itself was formed from the first players to start in 2006. The Wise Corperation has become the central monopoly of the gaming world and bought most companies to incorperate into "The World" itself.

But there is a problem. Early in the year something hit the continent of Yamal. It is unknown whether it was a virus, hacker, or if someone at Wise Corp had a grudge. But either way the whole area disipeared along with three islands. Many players lost their characters permanantly on that day. However this was not the end, next the GrandMarch temple disipeared and the Twighlight area began to experience strange phenominon.

So what is the Wise Corperation doing about this?

Well what can they do? Though secret at first it leaked out that they attempted to figure the cause out. They found that the continent itself was still there in the design. That for all purposes they could not figure out why the whole entire place would not show up. What was wierder was a message they got when they attempted to find the cause of this. The message was short and broken but read:

"Lies.. ][]e gate ]= ][e Deadalus"

They discared the message as if it were nothing and went on. They freleased that sometime this year a new contininet will be created to fill for the space. But for now the players can live on Crimson Mainland.

So whats the hustle about?

Well many players began to suspect that the contininent still existed but was somewhere else. Rumors came up and everything began to fly in its own direction. Something is happening or will happen soon, the question is, when and what?

I am a co-owner of a D&D PBMB community where we have a realtively small membership but on the whole the sites quite active. We have various games running in several settings, Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, Homebrew and we have a new Planescape game due to start at any time. We also cater for all editions, 2ed, 3ed and 3.5ed. There are even some old fanatics of 1st edition lingering around the site (me being one of the old guys that remember 1st edition when it came out)!

I'm not trying to poach players from this site at all as I'm new here and thats not my intent. As the thread says, advertise your site here, so I am!
