What JOB would YOU try to seek to Learn ??
Would YOU seek to Upgrade YOUR Body through through Bionics/Cybernetics, Juicer Process, M.O.M. Implants, or some other weird process to become More than Human
Would YOU Join a Merc Group or Join a Military or other group to get your Upgrades or Training ??

Off-hand, I don't recall enough details about Rifts to tell you which job I'd try to seek, but I can tell you that at first I'd be pretty damn freaked. Once that wore off, hell ya', I'd seek all the cool 'upgrades' I could get and basically become something just shy of not human at all anymore. If that required joining a group to get them all paid for, I'd prolly prefer merc over outright military.

If I landed on Rifts Earth I would me scared shit-less probably for more then a year. I would probably be in the Xitixics(sp) territory. I guess I would want to try to become a Line walker, all that power and no need to be physically fit.

Hmmm. I'd be more freaked out than I'd care to admit. I'm not sure what you mean by where would I be. I'll assume you want to know where I'd like to have come out, not where in the world am I now. I think that I'd like to be in the NGR area. (In RL, I live in SW Ontario, so I'd be close to the Coalition.) They have better tech than the Coalition. Personally, I like me as I am, so I'd probably want to be a robot pilot. I like Mechs of all types, and you have all that armour and firepower. I'd prefer merc to miltary, especially knowing the Rifts militaries. Any of the Magic users would be cool, but you have to have the knack, and my luck would be I didn't.

Now, when I play Rifts, I usually am a cyborg, and in the military to pay for it.

Hmm, good point, in real life I life in the southwestern corner of Virginia in the USofA, so I'm not sure where that'd put me in the world of Rifts.

If I remember correctly, most of Virginia is underwater, due to Atlantis' reappearance. The rest of it is in Archie's territory, I think...been awhile.

Hmm, that'd really make surviving to the end of that first year a lot more challenging...

Duluth, MN is Xiticix territory. I think Tolkien (before the Coalition War Campaign) was located where Minneapolis is now. So, if I were to be in the same physical location but find myself in Rifts, I'd be scared. I've heard the Xiticix will usually leave small groups of travelers alone provided they don't cause too much fuss and keep moving to get out of their territory. To be honest, the thing I'd be most scared of is my poor eyesight. My contacts don't fair to well out in the wilderness without saline and something to clean my hands for changing them out. And as for my glasses, they don't last too long when I'm doing physical things.

However, if I did manage to make it out of the Xiticix territory, I'd do my best to enhance my eyesight, preferrably with magic rather than cybernetics. As far as an OCC, I think I'd like to take up either Ley Line Walker or Mind Melter if I had the knack for it. Techno-wizard or Cyber-knight would be cool too. But in all honesty, I'd probably not make it out of Xiticix territory. Maybe the Cosmic Forge would take pity on me and turn me into a Cosmo-knight as I'm facing my imminent doom.

It has been so long since I played in a Rifts game I realy don't know what I would do.

I vote for end of the world. It has a nice ring to it. Personally I guess if it were the beginning of the end, I would probably go Ley Line. If I had a choice to become what I want, Tattoo Man all the way.
