	DM has many possible meanings (Dispute Mediator, Damage Moderator, Disgruntled Multi-tasker, Die, Munchkin!,...etc.)

Most of my experience was with 3.5 never played second edition much and I was introduced to it by being throwen in to the mix of things I was handed a really stupid character and expected to know what was going on - so I got tainted against second edition

I got introduced to the new system with Ebberron - Forgotten Realms and Dragon Lance I know next to nothing about.

Most of the characters are cookie-cutter and the same, causing the games to be boring, uninspired, and pretty much suck.
