I played the "open beta" of the Lord of the Rings online game. I am thinking of seriously buying this game and going against my "pay to play" principles. I thought it was pretty darn good.

It's such a shame that they couldn't have decided on something other than the subscription business model for their games, I'm sure that I'm missing out on some real fun with a few of them, but I just can't bring myself to submit to that pay structure for MMORPGs. |

Besides WOW, I also play Adventure Quest (& Dragon Fable), Neopets (don't laugh too much), and X-Box Live arcade (I guess that counts).
