Rules Balancing

In 2nd Edition a 20th level Wizard will walk all over a 20th level fighter. In 3.5 that fighter will have enough feats and tricks up his sleeve to be able to have a chance.

As for my history of games I have played, my first D&D was the red and blue book of D&D back in 1987 so just shy of 20 years of playing for me.

I'm not so sure that I agree with you there, part of that has to do with the player more than the character.. and of course luck of the dice certainly plays a factor too.

Hands down! On the other hand, if it hadn't been for the old MSN board that he set up for us at first, and those hundreds of members he'd attracted over the time that it ran there, would we be where we are here?
