I was 10 years old and my friend Ray had just purchesed the D&D paperback booklets. You know the ones I'm talking about, the system where you could have a -20 armor class. Ray, myself and couple of other friends had heard about the game but had never played it. We used 6-sided dice and had no clue what we were doing, but it was fun. From that day forward I was hooked, and I've been playing ever since. Almost every weekend.

A system where you can have a -20 AC? I'm sure I can do that in 2nd... Gimme some time and access to various books.
Whoops, was I trying to God-Mode D&D again? I should stop that... Steve threatens to kill those characters...
...now, back to the 1000+ attacks per round I was working on...

I was just starting my freshman year in high school and i had also just turned 14 (i mean like the day of school). So I walk into chess club at my school which is this really fun club where you can play any game you want and I saw people playin D n D. I watched for a while then one of my friends started a game up. I got in immediatly which was one of the most wierd things ever (trust me you dont wanna know). But anyways I bought the books and starte learning.
It took me a good solid year before I was good by I am a Full fledged DM and a player in my own group.
